About Blue Mountain Lodge
Blue Mountain Lodge is operated by Monticello Estate, which is a nearby orchard and vineyard upon which is grown apples, pears and wine grapes including San Giovese, Verdelho and Mourvèdre varieties. Monticello Estate is operated using strict sustainable farming practices, all of which assist with gaining the intense natural flavours of the fruit grown. Several varieties of apples and pears are grown including Pink Lady apples. This variety is used to produce the Estate’s famous apple juice.
Blue Mountain Lodge sits on a 21-hectare (52-acre) former orchard at the foot of Blue Mountains on Australia’s Granite Belt. The lodge opened in January 2015 and is registered for short-term accommodation. The lodge was constructed in late 2014 using the latest sustainable and eco-friendly technology.
